1. Who can participate? TAKHACK is open to anyone with a passion for solving real tactical and operational challenges. This includes veterans, active ADF members, developers, engineers, first responders, creatives, students, and startups.
  2. Do I need to be technical or have coding experience? No! While technical skills are welcomed, teams benefit from a mix of thinkers, storytellers, operators, designers, and tech builders. Everyone brings value to a hackathon team.
  3. What is ATAK and will I need to use it? ATAK (Android Team Awareness Kit) is a military-off-the-shelf (MOTS) mapping platform that enables real-time situational awareness and communication.
